Carla's cookies {chocolate chip peanut butter cookie}

At one time I worked in the tailoring position in Macy's. There was this awesome mens tailor/ star trekker/baker  named Carla. She gave me this cookie recipe. It is an upgrade from the Tollhouse brand of cookies, and since my family is a die hard chocolate chip cookie fan. It was an instant hit... Here is the recipe....
1 stick of unsalted butter, room temperature
1 c. of peanut butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. of brown sugar
cream together. Then add 1 tsp. of vanilla. and 2 eggs..  Then add 3/4 c. of white flour, 1/2 c. of whole wheat flour, 1 tsp. of baking soda, 1 tsp. of baking powder, 1/2 tsp. of salt, 2 1/2 c. of quick oatmeal. 1/2 to 1 c. of chocolate chips. Bake on parchment paper at 325 degrees until done appoximately 8-12 minutes...
